Jason is certified in Physical Education and has been teaching Physical Education within the New York City Board of Education for the over 14 years. He has taught children in the Elementary and Secondary Levels. Not only does he teach children sports, but also teaches children about respect, cooperation and how to be a better person. Jason was the Head Counselor at a sleep away camp in upstate New York for 13 years before returning to day camps last summer. Working with children non-stop has given Jason the experience and the tools needed to lead the counselors and campers at Camp Iconic.
Organizing and programming daily activities is something that Jason has organized in his past experience. Leading and motivating campers and counselors to be the very best that they can be is on top of the list of many things that he brings with him. Being responsible when needed, as well as the heart and soul of a child, Jason will be that fun, silly and outgoing leader that every camp should have.
Jason has dedicated his summers in the past to create the most fun, exciting, enjoyable, pleasurable and safe experience for all the children around him. He brings enthusiasm and passion to Camp Iconic this summer and for the summers to come. His expertise in sports will allow Camp Iconic to further evolve into higher levels within their sport programs.
Jason has many interests outside of work, most of these interests include the outdoors. He enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, camping and traveling just to name a few.
